Texas Nationals

In the third year of the Texas Majors series, we’re adding a lot more tournaments and a lot more ways to compete with the culmination of the season being the ultimate Texas tournament: Texas Nationals!

This is the final event of the year and it’s the greatest offseason tournament there is! Now featuring a sunday squad event!

What Division Is Right For You?

Intermediate: You have played a tournament or two, but aren’t ready for fast serves and next-level hits.

- Premier level players or players who have finished in the top 3 of a Major’s top division may not play intermediate, and 2 Gold players may not play intermediate together.

Advanced: You are ready to feel the heat of competition a little more but haven’t qualified for Gold yet.

- 2 Gold players may not play advanced if a Gold division is available.
- No Hit Zone will not be played in advanced
- Premier players or players that have finished in the top 3 of a Major’s top division are ineligible for the Advanced division
- Top 2 teams will earn Gold status

Gold: Qualification only division. Both Players must be Gold qualified as recognized by TASR or a similar status as recognized by a similar organization.

Women’s: As we look to grow the sport we want to help the women’s side of the sport grow and create competition between ballers of all levels as we grow the sport. As the women’s division grows we will look to install different levels of competition for the women’s division.

Platinum: Qualification only division at Texas Nationals that rewards our Gold Division players for results from the 2021 TASR Majors.

- 2 day event (Individual tourney on day 1 and squad tourney on day 2
- See below for qualification details and logistics

If one of the divisions does not have at least 8 teams it will be combined with another division.

New Rules

The 2021 TASR Major Season will be following the rules set by the SRA board in the Gold Division. As the leading organization in developing competitive players at the highest level and building strong communities, we see the importance of preparing our players for the highest level of play.

Contender division will be using NHZ.

Advanced will not be playing with the No Hit Zone. Although if both teams would like to ply with the No Hit Zone they are welcome to accept those as rules for their game in the advanced division.

The new “lip rule” will be used across all our divisions.
